Music Center Tours Strathmore is pleased to offer walk-in tours of the Music Center at Strathmore twice a week. These tours are free, led by trained docents and do not require reservations (groups of over 10 people require reservations, please see below for information about how to book a tour larger tours). Including a comprehensive tour of the concert hall and education center, these 30 minute tours touch on architectural features of the building, customer amenities, program and resident partner information, and even include a glimpse of the backstage areas (when not in use for performance or rehearsal).

Make it a Day! Guests will find it rewarding to pair tours with a viewing the current art exhibitions on view in the Mansion at Strathmore, a visit to our unique Gift Shops in the Mansion and Music Center, and a stop at the Prelude Café for lunch.
The Mansion at Strathmore, including galleries and Mansion Shop is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Prelude Café hours are Monday–Friday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Music Center Shop hours are Tuesday–Saturday 11 a.m . – 3 p.m.
Group Tours Reservations are required for tour group of 10 or more people. To make a reservation, please call the Tour Hotline and leave your name, daytime phone number, email address, size of group and preferred tour date(s). The tour coordinator will return calls weekly on Tuesday to set up the tours.

Strathmore also offers tours of the exhibitions on display during gallery hours by trained docents in the Mansion at Strathmore. Tours are drop-in, or for groups of 10 or more call the visual arts office at (301) 581-5146.
